In case you have never heard of the authors:
Sarah Pekkanen and Greer Hendricks wrote An Anonymous Girl, the last book I read and reviewed.
In case you have never heard of the book:
Nellie is the perfect wife. She was young, beautiful, and worked hard her whole life. She has a dysfunctional family and a painful past. But then she meets Richard.
Richard is a hard working stock broker, wealthy, orphaned, with a mysterious history and an ex-wife . But, he treats her like a queen, and takes care of EVERYTHING.
In case you were curious what I thought:
A page-turning thriller. It had me confused a couple of times. But once I caught n, it went smoothly. Had me really wanting to know what was coming next.
Having read an ARC for the same authors, the publishing company offered me a book club packet, and I took advantage of it. It included some sealed secret envelopes, a sealed letter from the authors, and some info on how to make the most of a book club revolving around this particular book.
We are currently in the “reading” phase, awaiting everyone’s finish, so that we can have our meet up and enjoy the packet to it’s fullest!
I would recommend this book if you like suspense and are into “what happened next?” type books.
