A Turkish Rom-com just in time for Valentine’s Day! Running time is 1 hour and 38 minutes. This movie stars Demet Ozdimir and Sukru Ozyildiz as Asli and Kerem.
Asli is a fashion designer and blogger. She writes about strategies girls can use to hook a guy. She is an independent, strong, single business-minded woman.
Kerem is an advertising executive, very sure of himself, and not at all interested in a long-term relationship. Arrogance and self-assured-ness make him successful in work, but less so in relationships.
Asli gets a message on her blog, wondering if she has ever made a man fall in love with her using all the tactics she prides herself on.
Kerem’s friends do not believe that he can hold a relationship for more than a couple of dates, and make a bet with him that he needs to make a woman fall in love with him.
Asli and Kerem meet at a party and the tactics begin!
Will they or won’t they fall in love? A fun, holiday appropriate rom-com full of cliches, reminiscent of “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days”. Overall, enjoyable for what it is.
